we are going with the NL, for a 1 unit play.. like the hitters slightly better and definately like the closers, this could be a 6 inning game for the NL as they can run Waggoner, Gagne, and Smoltz at them.. no opinions on the total.. will keep this for 1 unit only... Guys its too bad that the break came, dont think that ive been hotter..... Updated posted first half record since June 8th. and i use June 8th because thats when i turned my season around, i was floundering around until then... My record since then is 40-20 (+21.20 units) in the BHB/BW contest, a perfect 3-0 today... a remarkable 23-7 run on $500 plays for a $7950 worth of profit.. and in the MLB challenge run by trk, 87-66 (+25 units) (+83 units).. dont take this the wrong way, its just that the season started so miserably and to turn it around 180 degrees is very satisfying.. Hope everyone makes a lot of money in the 2nd half, ill see everyone thursday.. SSI, we agree with you on the side here. The hotter bats (Sheff, Barry, Sexson, Pujols, Lowell) and pitchers (Schmidt, Willis, WoddyW, Gagne, Smoltz, Wagner) for the most part are with the NL. The AL has players, of course, but not all have been "great" and consistent enough this year. Manny, Sweeney and Zito being out doesn't hurt either but basically we see it as this....the NL has more solid options and threats this year on both sides of the ball and we feel Barry and our relief pitching will pretty much be the difference in the end. Lets hope we're right, playing this as we would a normal-day 2-unit side (unofficially of course). Best of luck to you, should be fun to watch no matter what.
